Sebastião Castelo Lopes is an artist from Portugal living in London completing an MA at Wimbledon in Drawing. He prints images of common and discarded items onto old books, seeking to transform those everyday objects into something precious and worth looking at.

For this installation at C4RD, Castelo presents a number of ‘floating books’ filled with these sets of images, allowing the spectator to read, touch and walk around them.
